Kyoto General Store was borne while Skye was seeking unique and well designed stationery. So with Philippa, they realised, the beautiful stationery and accessories that are available in Japan. Skye's passion and vision for everything from fine paper to fridge magnets and Philippa's logistics and knowledge of Japan lead us to where we are today.
Our aim is source and supply the latest high quality and every day Japanese stationery and accessories for you.
We want to encourage you to re-discover the 'lost' art of the handwritten note/ letter. We can all relate to that feeling of opening a letter or note and reading those words that were chosen and written by hand especially for us. We believe that the beautiful stationery we stock will encourage you to take the time to write down that special note/letter and reclaim some old-fashioned etiquette and charm that has been temporarily lost to technology.
Our stock of everyday stationery and accessories will also encourage you to take the time to smell the roses and enjoy the simple things in life a little more.
We already offer a great range of products and if there is something you can't find featured in our shop let us know and we can do our best to find it for you. We source our products directly from Japan so if you have specific requests please let us know. We can also arrange custom bulk orders.
